METAL SINGLE CANDLE SCONCE

BELIEVED TO BE HANDMADE

DECORATED WITH METAL SWIRLS AND A VERDIGRIS-TYPE FINISH

This sconce has never been used and it is approximately 25 years old. 

There is a plain screw attached for fixing the sconce into a wall or to a wooden panel.  

The sconce is all metal and has a coppery and verdigris-type finish - coppery-red and pale green in colour.  

There is a swirl of brass-coloured metal around the top of the cone-shaped sconce and another large decorative metal swirl twisted round the base of the sconce.  

The sconce measures approx 20cm high (including the metal swirl at the bottom).  The cone for the candle is approx 7.5cm in height.  The diameter of the sconce for a candle is approx 3.5cm at its widest point.  The 'arm' with the screw on the end of it is approx 6cm in length and so when the sconce is screwed in to a wall, the sconce will jut out approx 6cm from the surface of the wall.
