Authentic vintage Kuna (Guna) mola appliqué baseball cap featuring a hand-sewn reverse-appliqué textile panel from Panama (Guna Yala / San Blas Islands).

The colorful front panel is a traditional mola, made by Kuna artisans using layered cotton fabrics cut and stitched by hand to create bold geometric and abstract motifs.

These molas were traditionally worn on women’s blouses and, beginning in the 1980s–1990s, were adapted into collectible tourist and folk-art items such as hats, bags, and pillows.

This cap combines indigenous textile art with a classic ball-cap form, making it both wearable and collectible.
