Why is this being sold “For-Parts or Repair”?  

Connected to a laptop with Visison installed. When the USB was connected, Windows recognized the T4. The slide holder would engage and click in and out. 


The device manager shows “Cellometer C1371 device”. When we run the software, a window opens that reports, "No instrument detected, running in analytic mode.”


We opened the unit, and everything looks complete. The light on the circuit board lights, but the results are the same.
