16 x New (but with flaws) hand carved and painted mechanical wooden rooster chicken wine bottle cork stopper for a barware collection.

Lift the roosters tail and he lifts his foot.

All of the tails work.

No identifying markings.

The rooster in the demo video is not included.

These seem like maker’s quality control pulls.

These bottle stoppers are for repair / restoration (I’ve listed the kinds of flaws present at the end).

Most, if not all, are fixable if you are skilled or interested in this art.

You can even use these as bases to customize and paint your own designs on them.

This rooster bottle stopper comes nestled on a sparse pile of purplish pink raffia like filler over folded newspaper in a white box with a clear acetate top.

The boxes have shelf wear and / or are in handled condition

Measures approximately 5”H (Just the rooster: 3 3/8”H).
The box measures 5 1/8” x 3 1/2 x 2 7/8”.
Due to these being crafted by hand there may be slight variations in the size, expression, carving and/or painting etc.

Flaws (also see pictures): to be glued back together: one’s foot, one back to the base and one’s loose leg. dark stripes in the wood. glue drops, drips and spillovers. Carving looks like a cut or there’s rough cut edges. Misaligned or crooked tail. Dark areas that look like something was rubbing on it (perhaps newspaper?). Dried coating with discoloration or spots. Scuffs. Crooked or cracked cork. Chalky pastel filler paste. Spots missed by stain. Random accidental paint brush strokes. Messy stain. White pasty crust.
