I bought these at Dillard's. I tore my Achilles tendon and my ankle will no longer bend, where I can bend it to get them on. I take excellent care of my expensive shoes. I always put on taps. These protect the heal. These can be removed and/or replaced at a shoe repair store. So heal is excellent. I also always use a shoe liner. So the gold lettering of Frye can still be seen on insole. The stitching is tan that matches the color under the black and mossy green. The leather was in this distressed condition when new. I loved that as it meant I would never have to polish. The number in boot is 77713, size 7B.
