The batteries have been mostly changed and seems to be functioning correctly. The charging docks are all in good condition apart from minor dust. Full details are available from the Hytera website.   Unsure Which Type Of Radio Is Best For You? *PMR446 Licence Free is ideal for short range communications usually up to 1KM depending on terrain. It is not a secure method of communication as it is a public band. Whist some packaging states up to 10KM range, this is almost impossible to achieve in general use. VHF is best for use in the countryside and open spaces. Most VHF handhelds operate at up to 5 watts. Range can be 1KM to 5KM depending on terrain. Though in some circumstances the range can be substantially greater.
