Mino Ware is a traditional handicraft produced mainly in Gifu Prefecture, Japan. It accounts for more than 60% of all ceramics produced in Japan and is considered Japan’s representative ceramics.

Mino Ware's roots are Sue Ware, which was #made around the 5th century. In the 16th century Oda Nobunaga's economic policies led to an increase in the number of craftsmen and kiln rules, and the area became the main production center.

Mino has the largest production volume in Japan. Due to its large scale, it was promoted by many wholesalers and made a wide variety of high-quality products.
