Beautiful antique American stoneware crock, featuring classic hand-brushed cobalt blue decoration and a bold impressed “6” gallon marking. This is a genuine late-19th-century utilitarian vessel, originally used for food storage, fermentation, or pickling.

The crock has a wonderful timeworn patina, thick salt-glazed surface, and traditional rolled rim. The decoration was applied freehand, giving it the charming irregularity collectors love. A substantial and display-worthy size that works perfectly in primitive, farmhouse, or rustic interiors.
