product description The LX-F sponge hardness tester is specially customized for the convenience of customers to measure the hardness of foam materials. It is suitable for measuring the hardness of soft foam materials and polyurethane foam rubber products. This hardness tester is used in measurement with other hardness testers. There is a difference in the aspect. When in use, the presser foot directly touches the sample and uses its own weight as a force load. Instructions: Hold the middle part of the instrument, gently place the hardness tester on a flat sample (or test piece) larger than the presser foot, and read within 1 second after the presser foot of the hardness tester steadily touches the sample, and then the pointer points to the scale It is the hardness value of the tested sample (specimen). In order to improve the measurement accuracy, the sample should be placed on a flat glass or flat plate. Each measurement point is only allowed to be measured once, and the measurement points at different positions on the same sample that are more than 25mm apart should be no less than 5 points. The average value of the measurement results is the hardness value of the sample material. Sample and adjustment (1) The thickness of the sample should be between 25mm and 30mm: when the thickness is less than 25mm, two sheets can be stacked on top of each other, but the contact surface should be smooth and flat, and the total thickness should still meet the thickness of the sample. (2) The size of the sample should be greater than 100mm in length and width, the distance between the measuring point and the edge of the sample is not less than 40mm, the distance between the measuring points is not less than 25mm, and the measuring point of each sample is not less than 5 points. (3) Remove the skin on both sides of the sample, the thickness should be uniform, the surface should be smooth, the micropores should be evenly distributed, and there should be no mechanical damage or impurities. (4) Sample adjustment and test environmental conditions shall be implemented in accordance with GB/T2941-91. After using the hardness tester, put it into the instrument box and place it in a dry place to prevent it from getting wet. Precautions When the pressure foot of the hardness tester is in a free state, the pointer displays ''0'', the end surface of the pressure needle and the surface of the pressure foot are in close contact with the glass plate, and the pointer display should be ''100''. If the pointer of the hardness tester cannot display ''0'' and ''100'' during inspection, it can be used only when it needs to be adjusted to ''0'' and ''100''.
