As water passes through the mixed-bed resin, the cations (positive) and anions (negative) resin exchanges ion with Total Dissolved Solids (TDS) in water, leaving filtered water with pure H2O.
Color Changing Indicator
Color-changing indicates when to replace your resin. When exhausted, the DI Mixed Bed resin changes from blue to amber, leaving out the guesswork of when to replace the resin.
Mixed Bed Capacity
Unlike a single cation or anion resin, the mixed bed resin has both the cation and anion resin beads pre-mixed to make ion exchange ready for any and all TDS covered ions.
