Orafil G (Temporary Filling Material)

Orafil G is a pre-mixed, paste-consistency, radiopaque material used by dentists for temporary restoration of cavities.

Usage: It is placed in a wet cavity and cures upon contact with oral fluids to provide a temporary seal between dental visits, such as during a root canal treatment. It is not a permanent filling and will be replaced by a dentist with a permanent solution.

• Properties: It is antibacterial, highly adhesive, and non-toxic.
• Application: The paste is introduced into the wet cavity using a suitable instrument and pressed to adapt to the cavity walls; no special instruments are needed for application.
• Post-application: Patients can typically eat or drink after 1-2 hours but should avoid sticky or hard foods.
