This is a very tough….very large…and extremely tight fit catchers mitt….the pocket on this glove is SUPER large and I would say that if you are catching both baseball and softball then this catchers mitt can do both….This is not a soft and easy to use catchers mitt

1) As far as fitting goes : This glove is a SUPER tight fit on my average adult size hand and it is tight around the wrist ! I can get my hand inside this mitt but it was very difficult to do so….so this is Not a loose fit glove

2) This glove does have a Velcro wrist strap, but it is VERY tight around the wrist….so to be honest with you I’m not sure if the Velcro wrist strap rally affects anything ! this glove will definitely not come off of your hand during action

3) Break in: this glove was not used a lot….it is a tough and very sturdy glove….and I would say that it will need to be broken in

4) There is no ink or marker

5) The inner lining : The inner lining is in very excellent condition as the glove is extremely comfortable to the hand and the fingers all the way up through the finger stalls ! It does have a red inner palm pad to absorb the shock

6) Feel of the glove : The glove feels TOUGH on the hand….this is not a soft and easy to use mitt

I have a Rawlings RCM7 35” Mike Piazza Baseball Softball Catchers Mitt in Excellent condition ! This glove is for the RIGHT handed thrower as the glove fits on the Left hand ! The glove also has an incredible pocket as you can see in the photos ! So once the ball enters the pocket of this glove it is not going to pop out ! In my opinion it will work for both baseball and softball because it is so large ! Checkout the 4th and the 5th photos how the glove totally wraps itself around the baseball ( it totally swallows up a baseball ) and the 6th photo shows what the glove looks like in the closed position without a ball in the pocket while the 8th photo also shows how the glove wraps itself around a full size 12” round softball ( it also gobbles up a softball really nicely also ) while the 9th photo shows how the glove can cradle 2 full size 12 inch round softball’s at one time ! So this will give you an idea of how large the pocket of this mitt is ! You will not be disappointed with this glove ! This mitt is just too large and it will not fit in a USPS flat rate priority legal envelope so I have to ship this glove by size and weight !
