The bottom layer is a color photograph of pink apple blossoms taken by the artist. Above it is a silver mat, followed by a custom mat covered with a black-and-white version of the same photograph. When assembled, the layers form a striking visual effect with a color center and monochrome outer image.
The artwork is framed under glass with a pressed wood backing and secured with metal clips. The back is signed and dated by the artist.
