Following in the footsteps of the original Micro Jigger SPJ™, this incredibly sensitive ultra-high-tensile carbon blank is infused with nano resins, creating a rod with the finesse of an ultra-high-performance carbon without having to worry about the nicks and bumps of day-to-day fishing with traditional carbon.
Designed for small spinning reels, it perfectly matches size 3000 - 6000 reels and is well balanced with Shimano Stella, Stradic, and twin power in 3000 to 6000 size Hamachi Agera in 3000 or 4000 , to name a few.
If you're into slow-pitch micro jigging working the shoreline or inshore shore reefs chasing the snapper of a lifetime, or the deep ledges offshore chasing yellow kings or dogtooth tuna, then the Hamachi Micro Jigger SPJ™ rods have you covered; it is a slow-pitch jig rod crafted in a PE0.5-1.4 5-22g and a PE0.8-2 20-60g
This is a great jig rod for Micro slow-pitch jigs, soft plastics, metals, and other vertically and semi-vertically fished lures.
The Hamachi team trialled the Micro Jig range on everything from Indonesian trevallies to New Zealand snapper and Mexican Cuberas.
The PE 0.5-1.4 is right at home with a 5 to 20lb braid and 5 - 22g slow-pitch jig we love it with 10lb
The PE 0.8-2 is an incredible 10 - 30lb braid set-up and 20 - 60g slow pitch jig we love it with 20lb
