Exhibited March 10 - 11, 1962, this work was created after an engraving entitled The Blue Dove, and bears the date of that work: December 28, 1961. Hand-signed by Pablo Picasso (Malaga, 1881- Mougins, 1973) in pencil in the lower right, this work is also signed in blue in the plate at the lower right and numbered from the edition of 200 in pencil in the lower left. This work is from the 'avant la lettre' edition. The original artwork was created in Dec 1961 for the March1962 Congrs national du mouvement de la paix(National Peace Movement Congress) in France The frame and lithograph are in beautiful condition with very minor scuffs to the gloss black frame.
