2016 Royal Mint Silver Proof 50p coin, issued to celebrate Team GBs participation and success in the Rio Olympics
This is number 2598 of a limited edition presentation of 4,000, but is almost unique in that it is one of a very small number that was signed by Team GB Olympic swimmer Jazz Carlin! This is a perfect match for the dynamic swimmer design on the coin's reverse, by designer Tim Sharp.
It is in excellent condition, and has been stored as purchased since I bought it direct from The Royal Mint, never opened or displayed.There are slight marks on the back of the outer box. The presentation case, booklet and COA are all immaculate. The coin's reverse is immaculate, with some toning around outer edge of the obverse as is so often the case with silver proof coins.
