DISCOUNT FOR MULTIPLE VHS TAPE PURCHASES

If you purchase multiple VHS tapes and pay for them in the same 24 hour period, I will refund 2.50 dollars for each tape purchased after the first one.

For instance…

If you purchase 2 VHS tapes and pay for them in the same 24 hour period, I will refund 2.50 dollars.

If you purchase 8 VHS tapes and pay for them in the same 24 hour period, I will refund 17.50 dollars.

 

 

All VHS tapes have been played to verify that they are in working condition.

I inspect every tape to verify that the tape is the correct title, that it is in very good condition, and that the tape has been played to verify that it works.

Unless stated in the auction title, all VHS tapes are used, meaning they have been played before. The cover sleeve may show signs of wear such as frayed edges, tears, stickers, sticker residue, tape, tape residue, etc. In some cases the cover sleeve has been removed and made to fit an aftermarket VHS case.

If there is any sign of mold, the tape is cleaned thoroughly (two passes in forward and two passes in reverse) using a Cleanermate VC-8088 VHS Video Cassette Tape Cleaner that I purchased specifically for this purpose.

Most, if not all of them came from a video rental store that closed (I think) in 2009.

I try my best to take the best photographs but in the end I have an old digital camera and pretty much no understanding of camera settings, proper lighting, backgrounds, etc. I do my best to take good photographs but sometimes my best is barely adequate and for this I apologize.

 

ADDITIONAL PHOTOGRAPHS

I am disabled and am only able to make use of one hand to take photographs. Because of this, I have great difficulty in taking additional photographs.

This is why I generally don’t take photographs of the cassette itself.

Please rest assured that there is no mold on the tape whatsoever. I purchased a Cleanermate VC-8088 VHS Video Cassette Tape Cleaner specifically for this reason. If there is any question about the condition of the tape, I will clean the tape.

Please understand that I am not trying to hide anything from you. It is very difficult just to take photographs of the front and back of a VHS tape, and even more difficult to take the tape out and take additional photographs, especially when there is no intention to buy the VHS tape in the first place.
