Vintage 1987 MLB Philadelphia Phillies AM Radio with "Milk" Advertising -

This is a used vintage MLB Philadelphia Phillies AM radio, in a maroon-ish color. One side shows a Phillies logo with Independence Hall, and the opposite side shows a milk advertisement for the "50th Anniversary National Dairy Month" (by the Middle Atlantic Milk Marketing Association). This radio measures roughly 3.5" x 2.5" x 1.25", with a 6" long black loop attached on one side. One side has the volume wheel and some kind of port (unsure if for headphones or an antennae), with the tuner wheel on the other side. It also has a sticker saying it was made in Hong Kong. This radio may have been released in or around 1987, likely as part of a Phillies baseball game giveaway.

I have opened this up to check the inside. I tested it with new batteries and it did appear to click on and mostly made a static sound while turning the tuning wheel (I have included a video turning it on and attempting to tune into anything). I was not able to actually tune into any stations (this may because it is an AM radio), and instead it cycled between static and no sound. This could differ depending on where you try and use it, so I cannot guarantee how well it will work functionally. This will not come shipped with any batteries (it requires two AAs). Even if it may not work well, it is still an interesting vintage Phillies advertising piece.

Overall this radio is in decent condition for being a vintage item. The surface does show some scratches and marks, especially some noticeable scratching on the Phillies logo side of the radio (I did my best to show this in the 6th photo) and scratches on the bottom hole used to open this up (7th photo). As stated, I tested it and it seemed to click on and mostly make static. The electronic components likely have some age wear, as well as some discoloring on the volume knob (see next to last photo). The black loop shows some bending to it. Please see the photos and video, as they act as part of the description.
