In the 2024 season he pressed, he tried to be great, instead of just playing ball… it was a bumpy ride. Fortunately he was good defensively so was able to deliver positive WAR for the season, but the strikeouts were too much. But make no mistake, he is going to be a star. He has the elite potential to be 25/25 or even 30/30. He is going to be great. He is the starting 2nd baseman for a future playoff team at age 22 … he has speed and power… 2025 was another step in the right direction, he again had positive WAR, and hit 17 HR to go with 17 stolen bases. his OBP was up 60 points year over year… Now.. here is what is so amazing.. a 17/17 season is how Jackson Holliday performs when he HASN’T put it all together..
