1 bought this jersey in 1991, the same year I went to Mario Lemieux’s ice hockey camp in Harmersville, Pennsylvania. Mario ran it with several other players, including Grant, Jennings 3, and Jay Caufield, 16. There are four signatures on it, the one on right shoulder patch #44 is unidentified but I believe it was one of Mario’s friends who was in the minor‘s because I remember him laughing after signing it. I obviously thought he was a Pittsburgh penguin at the time. I always figured it added to the story and the patch could always be replaced if needed. I had a post gazette newspaper also signed by Mario that sold it earlier this year.

That’s my Providence on it, unfortunately, I don’t have any documentation of that and it is not authenticated, but I did personally have these players sign it. I personally guarantee that they are correct and real, I know that doesn’t go very far anymore these days, but the jersey’s worth of Fortune once somebody puts in the effort to have them authenticated. If it doesn’t sell quickly, that will be me. The auction estimate if authenticated is 2000-4000 dollars depending on condition. As you can see the signatures are sharp with good contrast and the jersey is in good condition. It cost 75 for Mario’s signature and 45 each for the other signatures to get it authenticated as far as I can figure.
