In Norman Rockwell's Stockbridge, every building is aglow with welcoming lights and holiday cheer. The Rockwell's Christmas in Stockbridge collection recreates this warm, wonderful village just as Rockwell painted it.
In 1966 Norman Rockwell completed a remarkable panoramic view of his adopted hometown of Stockbridge, Massachusetts. The work entitled "Stockbridge at Christmas" appeared in McCall's magazine in 1967. Then and today, it is regarded as among his finest works -a masterpiece- and is on permanent display at the Norman Rockwell Museum in Stockbridge.
