Description: This University of Georgia yearbook chronicles the 1953 school year with text and pictures of students, faculty and events. It is both a pictorial history and a valuable glimpse into the academic and social life on the Athens campus. It is an especially rich source for understanding student life and activities including clubs, athletics, student government, music, homecoming/prom, and contests. This "Pandora" yearbook celebrates the unique spirit, scholarship and fellowship found at the University of Georgia. This is an original, vintage, and hard-to-find yearbook.
Condition: This vintage yearbook is in good to very good condition. The outside cover shows some minimal wear on the edges/corners (see pictures). The inside pages are in very good condition with no creases, tears, bent corners, writing or highlighting. No pages are loose or missing. This is a CLEAN yearbook with no inscriptions and/or signatures. However, there is a name and address written on the first page. The binding is tight. Note: the pages have tanned slightly with aging.
