The legendary progressive metal band Dream Theater returns with their highly anticipated 16th studio album, marking the dramatic comeback of original drummer Mike Portnoy. Following the Grammy-winning track “The Alien” from their previous album A View From The Top Of The World (2021), the band further solidifies their status with this monumental new release.

Fans have long awaited the return of Portnoy, one of the band’s founding members and a key creative force alongside John Petrucci. Their reunion began with Petrucci’s 2020 solo album and the 2021 Liquid Tension Experiment project, leading to the full-circle moment of Portnoy rejoining Dream Theater.

The first single “Night Terror” showcases the band’s signature chemistry, delivering a dark, heavy, and unpredictable composition built upon Portnoy’s dynamic and imaginative drumming. Mixed once again by Andy Sneap (Judas Priest, Arch Enemy, Megadeth), the album features 8 tracks with a total runtime of 71 minutes.
The Japanese edition comes in high-quality Blu-spec CD2 format, with a limited edition including a Blu-ray containing Visualizers, Dolby Atmos, 5.1 Surround, and High-Res Stereo mixes.
