For sale is a pre-owned Swiss Longines Conquest date automatic men's watch, likely produced in the mid/late 1950s.
Rose gold plated case and stainless steel case back. Swiss Longines 19ASD automatic movement, 17j.
Case ref. 9007-2
It appears as if hands, hourly markers and crown are held in a yellow gold tone. Case is rose gold plated.
Longines-signed silvery dial, nicely aged, with a number of tiny age spots and some patina across.
Hands and applied hourly markers in good shape, a number of light surface scratches on the plexi crystal.
Date indicator at 3h, semi quickset.
Signed gold plated crown.
Rose gold plated case and stainless steel case back, in very good to excellent shape; very few light surface scratches, and very well preserved overall. Case back with Longines enamel medallion in excellent shape.
OEM replacement case, likely affixed at some point in the past.
Bezel and lugs in excellent cosmetic condition.

This Conquest is winding, setting and running well. It is currently keeping fairly good vintage time (ca. +34 sec per day, based on a recent 24hr time check).
Watch head only, no strap.
Measurements are ca. 35mm in diameter excl. crown, and ca. 42mm lug-to-lug.
Lug width 18mm.
Please note that most vintage watches are smaller than contemporary models.
