Brandi Chastain signed and inscribed 8x10 color photograph. The signature and inscription are in blue felt tip ink, unfortunately there is ink lifting and smudging to the actual signature. The photograph itself is in excellent condition.
Brandi Chastain is a former American soccer player best known for her iconic penalty kick that won the 1999 FIFA Women's World Cup for the United States. She played as a defender and midfielder, earning over 190 caps with the national team. Chastain also competed in the 1996 and 2004 Olympics, winning gold and silver medals. At the club level, she played for teams including the San Jose CyberRays in the Women's United Soccer Association. Her impact on the sport helped propel women’s soccer into national prominence and inspired a generation of young athletes.
