Description

The set consists of two envelopes and a postal card.

I was wondering how I could help the Ukrainian war effort. Sending money to charities was a possibility, but I wanted to participate in the actual war effort. Then it dawned on me that I could sell Ukrainian Postage stamps, purchased directly from the Ukrainian Postal Service.  The funds received would go directly to the Government of Ukraine for use as they deemed most appropriate.  All profits will go right back into buying more stamps from Ukrposhta.

To date, we provided the Government of Ukraine with $13,272.84
for their effort.  The assistance of my past and future customers in helping me with this effort is greatly appreciated.  Please tell your relatives, friends, and coworkers of my listings.  Again, all profit on the Ukrainian stamps I sell will go right to the Ukrainian Postal Service for use by the Government of Ukraine as they see fit.

I do combine S&H for multiple items purchased by the same bidder. Just wait for my combined invoice before paying.

The set was described on the Ukroposhta site as follows"

On January 22, 2024, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy signed the Decree "On the Territories of the Russian Federation Historically Inhabited by Ukrainians". The decree was the Kremlin's response to the distortion of the history and national identity of Ukrainians in the Russian Federation, in particular in the lands historically inhabited by them: Kuban, Starodubshchyna, Northern and Eastern Slobozhanshchyna. The President of Ukraine notes that: "... today we must take steps not only to strengthen the unity of Ukraine and our people, but also to act for the unity of rights and freedoms, the truth about Ukrainians, the truth about us and the truth about our history." The new postal issue depicting the folk clothes of Ukrainians of Kuban, Belgorod and Kursk regions is a continuation of the well-known series of postage stamps "Ukrainian Folk Clothing" and the return of the truth about the historical past for the sake of the Ukrainian future.
