South East Antiques are pleased to offer this unusual antique Chinese plaque.
Dating from the 18th or 19th century, this rank badge or belt mount is cast from well patinated bronze. It is decorated with a qilin in relief amongst cloud bands with a pierced mounting hole to each quarter. The bronze is in stable vintage condition.
The plaque measures 11 cm (4 1/4 in) diameter. Please contact us with any questions before bidding or buying.
