1807 10C Draped Bust Dime PCGS FR2
Here is a piece of history! Minted when Thomas Jefferson was President and the US was only 17 States. The next State (Louisiana) did not come to be until 1812. In 1807 the average annual wage was around $65 or $1.25/week. A dime back then would purchase a loaf of bread along with almost a dozen eggs. Where has this coin traveled? What has it purchased in its lifetime? How many people have handled it? Wonderful questions that will never be answered but only imagined. At some point it spent time in a coin album for a number of years imparting the beautiful toning on both sides. Numismatics is many things to all of us but the one overall thing, it is HISTORY. Here is an opportunity to be a part of this coin’s long journey and share it with your friends and family adding your name to the list of the many individuals that have owned it, handled it and spent it.
