This is a neat collectible piece of political memorabilia. It is a brass square medal badge from the 1972 Republican National Convention. During this election year, Nixon was running against George McGovern. The brass badge measures 2 inches by 1.25 inches and was made by Bastian Brothers in the US.

CONDITION: This medal does not have a brass title badge above the ribbon, but I believe it was a press badge or some kind of delegate badge. As can be seen in photos, there is some light color wear to brass but overall condition is good and ribbon is still white but does have 2 pinholes where title badge was.
