Factory radios have built-in sound processing designed to enhance the sound quality of mass-produced factory speakers, maximizing their potential without compromising performance. This means that if you upgrade to aftermarket speakers, your factory radio will process the sound according to its factory settings, and your system will not sound as great as you had hoped. To remove the limitations of the factory radio and get clean signals for aftermarket audio gear, you will need a sound processor like our line of patented DSP products. Our DSP is unlike any other on the market, offering not only serious sound improvements but retaining many of the features commonly lost when upgrading a sound system.
