- Additional info: weBBoat Plus 5G is the new integrated system WORLDWIDE COASTAL INTERNET 5G/4G/Wi-Fi DUAL SIM All-in-One Plug & Playb, designed by Glomex to provide a secure Wi-Fi hotspot within the vessel, thanks to the integrated 5G/4G and Wi-Fi antennas for stable and ultra-fast connection, certified up to over 20 miles from the coast.
Download speed in 5G up to 2.5 Gbps thanks to the CAT 23 module. 5G offers a connection with the same level as fiber cable, but totally wireless and therefore perfect for use onboard. Moreover, when sailing in an area without 5G coverage, the LTE CAT 16 unit allows for a 4G connection speed up to 1Gbps.
Inside the radome, there are 4 high-performance 5G antennas and 2 x 2.4/5GHz MIMO Wi-Fi to optimize data transfer speed, with an increased connection speed. This means that it is possible to stream TV channels on platforms like Netflix or Amazon Prime, offshore, or work from the boat, using the internet connection as on land.
It is equipped with the new and revolutionary Glomex MIoT Routerboard platform, featuring a super powerful processor that significantly increases connection speed compared to other existing mobile wireless internet systems.
Among the most important features of the weBBoat Plus 5G are:
- Function carrier aggregation: in LTE it has the capacity to combine multiple bands into a single large channel, improving data transmission speed significantly,
- Automatic APN: Simpler and faster device configuration with automatic selection of the operator's APN for the inserted SIM card,

- Connection Priority Management: option to select which type of internet connection to use and in what order of priority between marina Wi-Fi/internet data via SIM cards installed inside the unit/SAT - satellite internet,

It is also possible to purchase the version with an integrated SIM Extender (29.921.20), which provides the user the ability to have up to 4 SIM Cards (up to 4 SIM Cards) (Micro SIM type) at hand, usable one at a time, and the freedom to freely install the Glomex weBBoat in an optimal position, to maximize performance in terms of navigation speed and distance from the coast.
The SIM Extender is equipped with two Ethernet ports: the first is used to connect the device to the weBBoat Plus 5G, while the second can be used for direct connection to other devices or with an Ethernet Switch, in case additional Ethernet ports or access points are needed to relay the WiFi signal within the vessel. The power supply is in direct current at 12 or 24 Volts.
It is possible to view the status of the SIMs either through the app or thanks to the LEDs on the front panel, in the following colours:
- Green: SIM active and connected to the internet (if flashing, it indicates that the connection is in progress),
- Red: Active SIM unable to connect to the internet,
- Yellow: SIM verified.
