Back Labels & Provenance

1. Polish Export/Conservation Label

The labels stamped Prezydium Rady Narodowej m. Krakowa, Miejski Konserwator Zabytków dated 29.V.64 confirm these works were officially reviewed by Kraków’s heritage office in 1964, likely for export. The text essentially says:

“This piece does not represent cultural property of significant value that would prevent its export.”

2. Dr. Stanisław Dąbrowski Note

The handwritten authentication (reverse of pastel portrait) by Dr. Stanisław Dąbrowski of Kraków provides mid-20th-century scholarly provenance.
