THIS AUCTION IS FOR A CON-COR/RIVAROSSI, 4-8-8-4 BIG BOY LOCOMOTIVE UPGRADED MOTOR, N Scale, used.

Please Note; This original Rivarossi 14 X 20 mm Big Boy round can motor has been upgraded with a new stronger rare earth magnet ( Neodymium Magnet ) also with a new stronger 3 pole Mabuchi skewed armature, with new larger motor brushes and brush springs. Please note also that all of these upgraded motor modifications have been done on the inside of the original round motor can, with no modifications done to the outside of the original round motor can.

Please note; You will need to remove the brass worm drive gear from the old motor shaft, and install it on this upgraded motor shaft to the exact position as it is on the old motor shaft. If you do not have small gear puller/pusher, and a small set of reamers, I would be happy to do this for you at no charge ( you just pay the postage both ways )

Please Note Also; that this upgraded motor is for the older Big Boy Locomotives, with the older round 14 X 20 mm can motors  in ( Premier Editions ) not for the later editions of the Big Boy that have the newer oblong open Mabuchi motors in. If you need this latest edition Big Boy motor I have new Mabuchi motors for the latest edition Big Boy locomotives, just let me know.

Also I will send you a piece of flex-able tubing that can be used to replace the noisy black plastic coupling.
