Step-By-Step Application
- Pre-heat your heat press to about 160 °C and ensure it is stable.
- Prepare the garment: lay it flat, remove wrinkles, especially in the area to be decorated (you may do a short pre press for a few seconds).
- Position your design on the garment, with the carrier on top (adhesive side against fabric). The adhesive backing helps with positioning.
- Cover the vinyl design with a protective sheet (Teflon sheet or parchment paper) if desired to protect both design and press.
- Press with medium-to-firm pressure at 160 °C for 15 seconds.
- Immediately after opening the press, peel the carrier while still hot (hot peel).
- If needed (especially around edges), repress for a few seconds to ensure full adhesion.
Aftercare
Wash inside out to protect the vinyl.
Do not exceed temperature specified (manufacturer says up to 80 °C maximum wash) otherwise things may degrade.
Avoid bleach and strong detergents when possible.
Dry on low/medium; avoid direct, high heat or ironing directly over the vinyl if not covered.
