You have found the missing piece to your figurine collection! Here is the Steuben Glass lead crystal PUPPY LOVE hand cooler figurine. This signed piece features two puppies cuddled up together. Their shape was designed in 1986 by Lloyd Atkins so as to fit nicely in the hand. These hand coolers were popular in the 19th century when women would carry them to the ballroom. They used these charming glass animals to keep their hands cool so they would not be damp when they accepted a suitor's hand to dance. Together, these snuggling puppies measure 2" tall by 2 7/8" wide by 1 3/4" deep. Signed on the underside, this cooler is in excellent preowned condition and is ready for its new home.
