Antique Russian silver and niello snuff box,Peter Catherine in Russian (Cyrillic alfabeth) to front of box, The image to front depicts the monument of Peter the Great in St Petersburg,errected 1782. The base image shows what is probably some of his fleet.
A super box which we have been unable to determine either the maker or assayer as marks are a little hard to determine.
Some minor wear to the Niello work (please inspect all images, also a small pinhead sized hole to the front right corner (minor).
Measures 82x50x14mm.
