The French Louis XIV style mantel clock, dating from the 19th century, features a gilt dial with blue and white enamelled numerals. It operates on a brass, eight-day, twin train movement, striking on a bell, and is housed in a boulle and brass and red case adorned with gilt metal mounts and  cupid finial. The clock is accompanied by its key and pendulum.
