Note:
Please make sure the installation site is clean. Or it will cause operating obstruction, making the compressor's temperature very high, and the belt on the clutch may melt.
But you need to add the refrigerant. Please add it to 70-80%. Try not to fill it up. There may be noise if the refrigerant is added too much.
Installation Steps:
- Once the old compressor has been removed, begin by removing the receiver/drier or accumulator and the expansion valve or orifice tube from the vehicle.
- Next, flush the condenser and evaporator using a non-oil-based A/C flush. The valve must be removed from the expansion valve system before the evaporator can be flushed.
- Flush evaporators from inlet to outlet.
- Install the new receiver drier or accumulator and a new expansion valve or orifice tube.
- Next, install the new or remanufactured A/C Compressor.
- Install and tighten the A/C Compressor mounting bolts.
- Reconnect any electrical connectors to the A/C Compressor.
- Re-install the refrigerant lines and A/C belt to the A/C Compressor.
- Reconnect the negative battery cable.
- Evacuate the A/C system with an A/C servicing machine for at least one hour.
- Check the system for leaks.
- If there are no leaks, install the refrigerant charge (Check the A/C system sticker under the hood of the vehicle for the proper amount and type of refrigerant for the system). Then, let the system set for 2 minutes. Doing so will allow the refrigerant to carry the oil and spread it more evenly throughout the system.
- Start the vehicle’s engine and turn on the A/C system.
The causes of the failure can be summarized as follows: (1) Poor heat dissipation and too much fluoride will cause impressively high pressure, overwhelming the capacity of the compressor and causing components of the connection rod broken or burning lock; (2)Because of too long vehicle service, the compressor is aging seriously and produces organic carbide ,which will impede water from being drained out by making the pipes blocked or the deliquefaction jar invalid, resulted in pipeline ice blockage; (3)The installed pipe assembly isn't fixed properly, resulted in air leakage.
The function of air compressor is to compress air, not to cool air. A product that has no signs of leakage, abnormal sound and has sufficient pressure can be certificated as a qualified product.
Note: The compressor may contain PAG oil for lubrication during shipping, please drain and replace. It is necessary to add an appropriate amount of oil and refrigerant (about 70-80%) to the ac compressor before use. Before placing your order, please check the compatibility to make sure this is the correct compressor for your vehicle!
