Handmade Wooden Icon Saved Pokychny 11th Century Art 11.4"x8.3" Religious Gift

This handmade wooden icon, "Saved the Pokychny," is a remarkable piece of religious art with a rich history. Crafted with devotion, this icon strengthens faith through its sacred imagery.

About the Icon: The Icon "Saved the Pokychny" was lost and miraculously regained at the beginning of the 21st century. Researchers attribute it to the second half of the 11th century. The face of Christ is expressive, written in soft, pastel colors. Such icons of the Donongolsk period are extremely rare.

Our workshop uses a wooden board with an ark as a basis for our icons. The back of the icon is reinforced with transverse supports.
