Really Nice REALLY LARGE 5" Antique Edison/GE/Mazda Type ROUND FROSTED Lightbulb, with Tip

DESCRIPTION: Scans show it all.....VERY RARE, VERY EARLY ANTIQUE Edison type lightbulb.    Measures, 5" tall, 3  1/2" diameter.  Has "hand-blown" glass tip on top.   Unusual in that it is frosted, very large, and very early.  Nice brass base with aged patina.    

I believe post and filaments are complete,  but I have no way of testing it and don't know whether it works or not.  Therefore, primarily sold as an extremely early collectable/display piece, although you may get lucky and it still works.  That has happened with 2 nice bulbs i have recently sold.  At the very least it is a great early display piece.  Frosted bulb glass is in nice condition. The style is nice AND VERY EARLY.   Looks just like the earliest style, including the blown glass tip.  Probably made not much later than 1900 or so.  

This is a great early bulb for display or to complete a period lamp or collection!!

A particularly nice, UNUSUAL early antique lightbulb for any display or collection!!!
