A custom rewound AFX pancake amateur motor with a resistance of 5.1 Ohms, nicknamed "Hornet" after the famous Hudson Hornet. This motor, created by the YouTuber Licensed2Fix, features an original AFX red core with neutral timing. The performance of this motor is designed to out perform its mean green rivals with rapid response and uncompromising straightaway speed, making it ideal for longer races as it runs cooler. This is a fantastic armature to showcase against your friends who favor lower ohms armarures. They'll be amazed by your red arm, which looks 100% stock yet burns the track up, leaving them in awe as they wonder how you’ve managed to make a less-than-stellar red AFX armature run so impressively. In addition to the Hornet, custom rewound packages are available for order and can typically be shipped within 48 hours. These packages may include options for 5-degree and 10-degree advanced timing, depending on availability. Please note that resistance values can vary based on the measuring tool used and the location of measurement, as well as potential variances in measuring techniques. It is generally expected that armatures will vary ± 0.2 Ohms across poles when using a quality meter. Also, you will get different readings than me, its just the nature of different meters. To support my ohm claim, I have included a photo of the Hornet and a control using a brand new Super II armature known to test between 4.2 and 4.5 ohms from the factory. I'm using a $300 Fluke meter, not a cheap Harbor Freight or similar. For this reason, I will not be accepting returns based on differences between my meter and your meter. Every armature is bench tested in an AFX chassis to ensure smooth and unrestricted operation. For further inquiries, feel free to reach out.
