This very nice 2 gallon salt glaze crock is in excellent condition with only a tiny chip on the inside rim.  It is 9 inches tall and has a diameter of about 9 inches.  It features a freehand drawn cobalt number 2 with a cobalt line under the 2.  Crocks like these always add that primitive charm to a home.  They can be stacked or filled with some collectible.  Many people place a potted plant inside.  they are very versatile to use around the house.  I am not sure about the origin of this crock but I would venture to say it is probably Midwestern and from Ohio.
