Cross Century II fountain pen with 18K M Rhodium plated nib and hallmarked sterling silver cap/barrel.
[Overall condition]In excellent collectable condition, with only minor marks on the cap and barrel from normal use. It has developed a beautiful patina from oxidation, which can be easily cleaned if you prefer to restore its original shine.
[Dimension and weight]Length:13.3cm capped, 12.4cm uncapped, and 15cm posted. Diameter: 10.8cm(cap), 9.5mm(barrel).Weight: 23g capped, 14g uncapped.

[Nib]18K solid gold nib in M size, plated with Rhodium in shiny silver finish. No obvious misalignment or excessive wear on the tipping.
[Cap]Hallmarked 925 solid silver except for the clip(metal).Clip-on type. It fits tightly to the barrel and stays securely in place with a distinguishable 'click' when capped. Very minor marks to the surface, no dent, please check the photos for actual condition.
[Barrel]Hallmarked 925 solid silver.Very minor marks to the surface, no dent, please check the photos for actual condition.
[Filling system]Ink cartridge/converter: Cross type cartridge or 8756 Threaded converter. The latest 8751(clear colour, not the discontinued green one) should also fit, but I can’t confirm this personally.
[Attachments]Original case and manual, a compatible 8756 converter but no cartridge.
[Dipping test]It writes smoothly, with no noticeable issues from my daily use.
It produces a line width of 0.5–0.7 mm, slightly wider than typical rollerball or ballpoint pens, using Pilot standard black ink on 90 gsm high-quality paper. Please note this is for reference only—the actual line width may vary with writing style, ink, and paper.
The pen was cleaned before listing, but some ink residue may remain on the tip from the dipping test. Please clean before use if needed.
[Summary]A discontinued Cross pen with a high-quality nib and jewelry-like finish. Suitable as a reliable everyday writer or a fine collectable piece.
I’m reducing my pen collection and will list a few more in the following days.
