Description: A very nice example of the new and enlarged second edition. Original green cloth with gilt vignette and titles to front and spine. Top edge gilt. Beautifully illustrated throughout by Arthur Rackham with 24 tipped in full page coloured plates all with captioned tissue guards. Additional tinted and black and white illustrations throughout. 

The book is in very attractive condition with some light wear and bumping (see pictures). Original decorative endpapers with a bookplate of William A Shiers to the inside of the front cover. Light toning to the half title, and page edges. All the plates present and correct and are in great condition. 

A nice example of this Arthur Rackham illustrated book.
