Cassius Clay, later known as Muhammad Ali, was a legendary American boxer widely regarded as one of the greatest athletes in history. Born in 1942, he won a gold medal at the 1960 Rome Olympics and rose to fame for his unmatched skill, speed, and charisma in the ring. His 1961 bout with Duke Sabedong marked one of his early professional victories, showcasing his developing style. Clay would go on to win the world heavyweight title three times and become an icon both in and out of the sport. He was also a prominent figure in civil rights and anti-war activism during the 1960s and 70s. Ali remains a global symbol of resilience, pride, and excellence.
