    When to Replace Brake Calipers?

Over time in normal driving conditions, the heat generated from the braking system can weaken and break down seals inside the calipers. They can become rusty, contaminated or dirty, and start to leak brake fluid if you don’t drive regularly.

However, you should have your brakes checked immediately if you experience any of the following:
    1
The brakes are continuously squeaking, squealing or grinding
    2
The brake or antilock braking system (ABS) warning light comes on
    3
The car jerks or pulls to one side when braking
    4
You need to pump The brakes for them to work properly
    5
The brake pedal feels unusually soft and spongy or hard
    6
You notice brake fluid leaks around the wheels or engine compartm

    How to Install Brake Calipers?

Step1 - Remove an Old Brake Caliper:
    1. Raise your vehicle with a jack and remove the wheel in front of the caliper.
    2. Remove the caliper bolts and pry the caliper off with a screwdriver.
    3
Pull the brake pads from the caliper bracket, then remove the bracket.
    4
Disconnect the caliper from the brake hose by turning the banjo bolt.
    5
Secure the new caliper to the brake hose and screw the bracket into place.
    6. Slide the brake pads back onto the caliper bracket.
    7
Attach and secure the new caliper to the bracket with the bolts and a ratchet.

    Step2- Install New Brake Caliper:
    1
Get a new brake caliper that’s compatible with your vehicle
    2
Unscrew the banjo bolt on the caliper that connects to the brake hose
    3
Secure the hose onto the intake port on the new caliper.
    4
Screw the caliper bracket against the brake rotor
    5
Slide the brake pads onto the front and back of the caliper bracket
    6
Attach the new caliper to the bracket so it fits around the brake pads

Step3 - Bleeding the Brake System:
    1
Loosen the cap on the main brake cylinder under your vehicle’s hood
    2
Connect a clear plastic hose between the bleeder valve and a bottle
    3
Open the bleeder valve on the caliper until it starts leaking brake fluid
    4
Ask a helper to pump the brake pedal until you don’t see bubbles in the hose
    5
Reattach the wheel to your vehicle
    6
