Three display modes
The Flash Mate L-308X has three display modes: Photo mode, HD Cine mode, and Cine mode.
By switching between the modes, information appropriate for each shooting mode is displayed.
Photo mode
This mode is suitable for use with photo cameras (digital/film).
Ambient light and flash light (cordless or corded) are available.
Standard exposure (f-number) is displayed with shutter speed priority and aperture priority.
Exposure control is possible in 0.1 step increments. EV measurement is also possible.
HD Cine mode
This mode is suitable for use with cameras that allow you to set the frame rate and shutter speed, such as digital cameras with movie functions and digital video cameras.
Standard exposure is displayed when measuring. Exposure control is possible in 0.1 step increments.
You can also use the simple illuminance measurement (lux) mode to quickly set the amount of light.
Cine mode
This mode is suitable for use with cameras that allow you to set the frame rate and shutter opening angle, such as digital cine cameras (movie cameras).
The standard exposure is displayed after measurement.
Exposure control is possible in 0.1 step increments.
You can also use the simple illuminance measurement (lux) mode to quickly set the light intensity.
Equipped with a backlight designed for studio use
The LCD screen is equipped with an inorganic EL backlight.
It lights up at a brightness of EV5 or less, making it easier to see letters and marks even in dark places.
