Antique Gate-type Saw Wrest / Saw Set with Rosewood & Brass Handle
A very nice, genuine antique gate-type saw set (saw wrest) with a tapered steel bar and different-sized gates (slots) to accommodate saws of varying thicknesses. Incorporated into the end is a flat-head screwdriver used to tighten saw handle screws. The saw set retains its original rosewood handle and brass ferrule. Length: 202mm (approx. inches). Good used condition (nice, naturally aged patina – minor restoration to handle).
