The billing was Jerry Garcia and Friends, but it was the Grateful Dead debut of BLUES FOR ALLAH, with friends Merl Saunders and Ned Lagin, the SEASTONES guy. A fabulous historical show.
Also Tower of Power, Santana, The Doobie Brothers, Jefferson Starship, Joan Baez and wrapping up the day Neil Young with Bob Dylan and friends!
As chance would have it, I was there, on a friend's balcony overlooking Kezar Stadium. It was a great day; this is a great broadcast collection box set.
