JBL's AI Sound Boost technology analyzes your music in real-time to deliver the best performance possible, and can now output up to 35W of sound. On a full charge, the Flip 7 can last for 14 hours, but Playtime Boost can be activated to squeeze out 2 additional hours if needed. Another new feature is Auracast support, which transmits audio to Auracast-enabled speakers in-range without the need for pairing; letting you add additional speakers for the biggest bashes.
Flip 7 supports Auracast technology to make sharing music super simple. Auracast is a Bluetooth feature that broadcasts audio to an unlimited number of JBL Auracast-enabled speakers that are in range; all without the typical chore of pairing the speakers together. Enjoy true stereo sound with a second Flip 7 or keep adding more compatible speakers for the largest parties.
On top of being water- and dustproof with an IP68 rating, the Flip 7 is drop-proof from up to 3.3'.
If you want to elevate the quality of your music from the typical Bluetooth streaming, use the Flip 7's USB-C port to connect a laptop or other device to playback lossless audio sources.
JBL cares about the environment as much as providing high-quality audio, which is why they use eco-friendly materials to make and package the Flip 7. Up to 77% of the Flip 7 is made from post-recycled plastic, and 100% of the fabric is recycled. The box it comes in uses FSC-certified paper packaging that's printed with soy ink.
Using JBL's PushLock system, you can make the Flip 7 your own with interchangeable accessories. A strap and carabiner are included to make it easier to carry hands-free, whether it's around your wrist or hanging from a backpack.
For easier remote control of the Flip 7, you can use the JBL Portable mobile app. The app provides access to customizable audio controls, firmware updates, and technical support.
